What with deep saturated transparent colors over premium Alder, the Highway 1 guitars and basses are loud even before you plug 'em in (the acid test for a great sounding electric instrument!). The Highway 1 Stratocaster® HSS pays homage to guitarists emerging as hobbyist luthiers in the '80s, who added aftermarket appointments like Black bobbin humbuckers and DIY finishes. Featuring a resonant Alder body with a light satin lacquer, large headstock, 1-piece Maple neck with 22 medium jumbo frets, synchronized tremolo, plus two Alnico magnet, staggered pole piece, single-coil pickups coupled with a single Fender Atomic II(tm) humbucker.
