What products are eligible for Platinum Warranty Coverage?
Consumer music products that are repairable, including but not limited to guitars, keyboards, drums, mixers, and miscellaneous Consumer Electronics products that are used in music amplification systems.
Does the extended Warranty cover open box items?
Assuming the item is eligible if its a new item, then items designated as OB, OBX and OBT are eligible. Items designated as OB2, OB3 etc. that have blemishes are excluded.
How long can I wait to purchase a Warranty?
45 Days from the date of the sale.
How many claims can I make over the term of my Plan?
We allow multiple claims within the original purchase price.
Is there a dollar limit on claims?
The total dollar amount of your claims cannot exceed the original purchase price of the
product.
Will I have to pay a deductible?
There are no deductibles, hidden charges, or out of pocket expenses.
If I sell my product to someone else, is the Plan transferable to the new owner?
Yes, all Plans are transferrable at absolutely no cost to you or the new owner. Simply call
us toll-free to report the change of ownership.
How long is the coverage of the Plan?
MusiciansBuy can offer a 1, 2, 3 and 4 Year extension plan depending on the manufacturer's warranty and customer's preference for protection.
What is not covered with my Plan?
Claims resulting from misuse, abuse, improper maintenance and loss or theft of your
product are not covered by the Plan.
How do I make a claim?
It's easy. Simply call the Platinum Warranty Hotline (1-866-927-3116) and our team of professionals will assist you with your claim request. If you are eligible for a Replacement product, it will be sent to you. If you are eligible for Repair, we will arrange for a servicer to repair your product promptly.
