This is a cheap and cheerful analyser that promises so much but doesn't quite match the claims. If you are planning on using this with a computer beware, it won't work with Windows XP. Windows 98 is fine. They have recently brought out the XP software but the setup is in German (!) and refuses to work. There is currently no support in the USA, and support from HQ is patchy and ineffective. As a stand-alone analyser it works, although powers-down at random intervals whilst powered from AC power pack. Menu selection is tiresome, having to exit layer after layer to get back to the analyser after a selection. The phase checking works sometimes but often gets confused, which renders it unreliable. The resolution is quite coarse and is not adjustable. The memory function stores and prints out the readings in a ridiculous table format that I find unusable. Cheap and cheerful is the best description, but like most cheap items, after the initial novelty has worn off, It leaves you feeling like you should have spent more and got a better product.
