Yamaha MG24/14FX 24-channel Audio Mixing Console 14 Buss W/Effec Price: $1,049.99

MG24/14FX, MG32/14FX, MIXING CONSOLES
Serious Capacity For Sound Reinforcement & Installations

If your application is live sound reinforcement, you'll want all the channel capacity you can get - just in case. Vocal mics, instrument mics, stereo keyboards, direct-injection feeds, drum mics, and the rest can add up very quickly. With 24 and 32 input channels, respectively, the MG24/14FX and MG32/14FX are ready to handle all but the most ambitious sound-reinforcement setups. And with dual SPX digital effect systems on-board, you won't need racks of outboard gear to get the sound you need. There's also a comprehensive range of group and auxiliary busses to make even complex mixes easy.

24 or 32 Input Channels
Choose either the 24-channel MG24/14FX or the 32-channel MG32/14MX according to your needs. All other features are the same. The MG24/14FX has 16 mono microphone/line channels while the MG32/14FX has 24. Both offer four stereo line channels in addition to the mono mic/line channels.

Low-noise, High-precision Mic Preamps With Phantom Power
All 16 mic preamps in the MG24/14FX and all 24 mic preamps in the MG32/14FX are of exemplary quality. They offer low-noise, transparent amplification with the widest possible range of dynamic and condenser microphones, which adds up to cleaner, better-sounding mixes. All mic preamps feature switchable phantom power for phantom-powered studio condenser microphones. Phantom power is switchable in 8-channel groups.

Illuminated Switches
Illuminated ON (channel), PFL (Pre-Fader Listen), and phantom-power switches let you confirm critical console settings at a glance.

14 Buses In All For Flexible Signal Routing
In addition to lots of input channels, live sound reinforcement applications usually demand a number of additional mixes - usually in the form of group sub-mixes and aux sends for external signal processing and monitor mixes. In both the MG24/14FX and MG32/14FX you have a total of 14 mix buses: the main stereo program bus, four stereo group bus pairs for convenient channel grouping, six auxiliary busses (four configurable for pre- or post-fader operation and two set up as effect sends), and two internal effect busses that feed the dual high-performance built-in effect processors.

Insert I/O
All mono input channels feature insert I/O patch points so you can insert compressors, EQ, or other extra signal-processing gear into the channel signal path as required.

3-band Mid-sweep Channel EQ and HPF
The 3-band equalizers with a sweepable midband provided on all input channels are designed for exceptionally smooth, intuitive response that can help you to create cleaner, tighter mixes. All mono microphone input channels also feature a switchable high-pass filter that can be used to cut out unwanted low-frequency noise.

Dual SPX Digital Effects
In the MG24/14FX and MG32/14FX you have not one, but two high-performance digital signal processing stages, fed by separate effect buses, so you can enhance your mix with two separate effects at the same time. And the effects are provided by the very latest Yamaha DSP technology - you know you're getting the best. Each stage provides a selection of 16 professional - quality SPX digital effects, including reverb, delay, pitch change, chorus, phasing, vocal doubling, distortion, and more. Parameter controls that can be adjusted to tailor the effects to your sonic requirement are also provided and Tap delay makes it easy to produce tempo-synchronized delays.

Talkback Input
Communication capability is important for efficient setup as well as for keeping a show running smoothly. The MG24/14FX and MG32/14FX both feature a talkback system that allows the FOH engineer to communicate with the monitor engineer, performers, or other staff to keep the team operating at optimum efficiency.

Balanced XLR Stereo and Mono Outputs
Professional connectivity is provided by reliable XLR-type balanced stereo and mono outputs.

Sweepable LPF for Mono Out
One of the many uses for a mono output is to drive a subwoofer system. The MG24/14FX and MG32/14FX make this easier than ever with a built-in sweepable low-pass filter on the mono outputs.

Lightweight, Portable Designs

Designing a lightweight mixer is not too difficult, but designing a lightweight, compact mixer that delivers serious performance is another matter. The Yamaha design team went to extraordinary lengths in the MG series, including in-depth material and structural analysis, to bring you maximum manageability and maximum performance in the same packages. The result is that you can easily pop the smallest models into your briefcase or shoulder bag and take with you anywhere. Even the larger models can be tucked under an arm and carried around quite easily. But the performance you'll get at the studio, club, hall, or anywhere you choose to use these fine mixers is far from lightweight. Every one of the MG series mixers provides significant space savings along with huge performance benefits.

Versatile Connectivity and Pro-class Connectors

-mounted input and output connectors make setting up and re-patching your system quick and easy. All models feature high-quality Neutrik balanced XLR connectors on mono microphone/line channels and XLR-equipped stereo channels. These professional-class connectors were subjected to extensive testing by the Yamaha design team, and were chosen for the MG mixers for their superior reliability and sonic qualities. The XLR-equipped stereo channels can accept mono microphone input either via the XLR or phone jack connectors. The remaining stereo channels provide phone jack and pin jack connectors for compatibility with a wide range of sources. Mono input channels also feature insert I/O connectors that let you patch external signal processing gear into those channels as required. Separate pinjack 2TR inputs are provided to accept the output from a CD player or similar stereo source.

Built-in Channel Compressors

This advanced feature can be a tremendous advantage in achieving great vocal sound, as well as to refine the sound of bass, guitar, and other sources. You won't find built-in channel compression on too many other mixers in this class, but in the new MG mixers you have Yamaha's innovative one-knob compression feature on several of the mono input channels. Conventional audio compressors with their threshold, ratio, knee, makeup gain and other controls can be complex and timeconsuming to set appropriately for a given source. Yamaha's one-knob compressor eliminates the need for an engineering degree with a single control that lets you simply dial in the amount of compression you want.

High-performance Microphone Preamplifiers with Switchable Phantom Power

Microphone preamplifiers are critical in any mixer, and a performance bottleneck in many. That's why pros often spend thousands of dollars on just a single channel of microphone pre-amplification. The microphone preamps built into the MG mixers inherit technology from Yamaha's -line professional consoles, and have been painstakingly designed to deliver superior sonic performance with any dynamic or condenser microphone. Gain trim covers a wide -60dB ~ -16dB range for microphones (-34dB ~ +10dB for line input), so you'll be able to achieve optimum level matching with just about any source. All microphone preamps also feature switchable phantom power so you can take advantage of the natural, extended response of high-quality condenser microphones.

3-band Channel EQ and High-pass Filters

Building a truly useful, musical-sounding channel equalizer is no easy task, but Yamaha has decades of experience in building pro consoles to draw on. You reap the benefits in the MG series mixers: all mono channels feature 3-band equalizers with LOW, MID, and HIGH controls. Depending on the model some of all of the stereo channels have 2-band EQ for smooth equalization of stereo sources. Although not directly related to the equalizer circuitry, all inputs also feature 80 Hz low-pass filters that can be used to eliminate subsonic noise that is outside the equalizers' range.

Aux/Effect Sends

All models except the MG82CX have from one to three AUX sends for convenient to processing and monitor systems. Master send controls are also provided, as are RETURN level controls for the AUX and STEREO busses. "CX" models have EFFECT send controls on all channels that adjust the level of the signal sent from the corresponding channel to the mixer's internal multi-effect system. The same signal can also be sent to external effect processors via the mixer's EFFECT SEND jack.

Two, Four or Six Buses (Stereo and Group)

The smallest models in the lineup the MG82CX and MG102C have a single stereo bus (i.e. two mono buses). All other models additionally feature one or two stereo group buses and outputs that can be used for convenient channel grouping. Assign switches for the stereo and group buses are located next to each channel fader.

Smooth 60-millimeter Faders & Illuminated Channel ON Switches

While the MG82CX and MG102C feature rotary faders, channel and master level control on all other models is accomplished via reliable, highperformance 60-millimeter linear faders that provide smooth, noise-free operation. When you have more than a few channels the direct visual indication of relative level settings can be an important advantage. Models with linear faders also feature illuminated channel ON switches that can be used to individually add or remove channels from the mix without having to change the positions of the channel faders.

Bright Meters for Visual Level Monitoring

Accurate visual level monitoring can help you achieve maximum signal-to-noise ratio without distortion. The MG mixer's bright, easy-to-read multi-segment LED meters make it easy to control system levels for optimum overall performance.

Easy Operation

All switches, controls, and displays have been designed and laid out for intuitive access and smooth, reliable operation with positive tactile and visual feedback.

Yamaha MG124CX 12 Input 4 Bus Stereo Mixer with Effects Price: $289.99

For applications requiring up to 12 input channels, the Yamaha MG124CX mixer offers stunning MG-series sound plus an extra margin of signal-routing versatility. The Yamaha MG 124CX features a high-performance digital multi-effect processor built-in, giving you everything you need in one compact, powerful package.

In spite of the fact that it has 12 channels, four buses, and a wealth of advanced features, the MG124CX is small and light enough (only 2.9 kilograms) to be tucked under an arm and set up just about anywhere. This remarkable sound mixer provides significant space savings along with huge performance benefits.

Inputs & channels

Flexible 12-input Configuration
The Yamaha MG124CX both has a total of 12 input channels - four mono microphone/line inputs and four stereo line inputs. Two of the stereo line inputs can also function as mono microphone inputs, giving you up to six simultaneous mono microphone inputs when needed. Gain trim covers a wide -60dB - -16dB range for microphone input, and -34dB - +10dB for line input.

Comprehensive, Easy-access Connector Panel
Top-mounted input and output connectors make setting up and re-patching your system quick and easy. Both models feature high- quality Neutrik balanced XLR connectors on all four mono microphone/line channels and two of the stereo channels. The XLR-equipped stereo channels can accept mono microphone input either via the XLR or phone jack connectors. The remaining stereo channels provide phone jack and pin jack connectors for compatibility with a wide range of sources. The four mono input channels also feature insert I/O connectors that let you patch external signal processing gear into those channels as required. Separate pin-jack 2TR inputs are provided to accept the output from a CD player or similar stereo source.

Six High-Performance Microphone Preamplifiers with Switchable Phantom Power
The microphone preamplifiers in any mixer are critical to its overall performance. The microphone preamps built into the MG mixers inherit technology from Yamaha's top-line professional consoles, and have been painstakingly designed to deliver superior sonic performance with any dynamic or condenser microphone. All six microphone preamps feature switchable phantom power so you can take advantage of the natural, extended response of high-quality condenser microphones. A single switch turns phantom power on or off for all microphone channels.

Built-in Channel Compressors
Built-in channel dynamics is usually only found on high-end (and very expensive) consoles. The MG 124CX features Yamaha's innovative one-knob compression feature on mono input channels 1 through 4. This advanced feature can be a tremendous advantage in achieving great vocal sound. It can also be used to refine the sound of bass, guitar, and other sources. Conventional audio compressors with their threshold, ratio, knee, makeup gain and other controls can be complex and time-consuming to set appropriately for a given source. Yamaha's one-knob compressor eliminates the need for an engineering degree with a single control that lets you simply dial in the amount of compression you want.

3-Band Channel EQ and High-pass Filter
Yamaha has decades of experience in building truly useful, musical equalization into successful pro consoles, and the channel equalizers in MG-series mixers carry on without compromise. Channels 1, 2, 3, 4, 5/6, and 7/8 feature full 3-band equalizers with LOW, MID, and HIGH controls, while 9/10 and 11/12 have 2-band EQ for smooth equalization of stereo sources.

Four Buses (Stereo and Group)
In addition to the main stereo bus the MG124CX features a stereo group bus and outputs that can be used for convenient channel grouping. Assign switches for the stereo and group buses are located next to each channel fader.

Illuminated Channel ON Switches
All input channels feature illuminated channel ON switches chat can be used to individually add or remove channels from the mix without having to change the positions of the channel faders. The effect channel on the MG124CX also has its own ON switch.

Master & output section

Effect/Aux Sends
The MG124CX has pre/post switchable AUX sends on all channels as well as EFFECT send controls that adjust the level of the signal sent to the mixer's internal multi-effect system.

Stereo, Control Room, Monitor, and Headphone Outputs
Located above the mixer's master controls, on the convenient easy-access connector panel, are the main stereo output connectors, phone-jack monitor output connectors, pin-jack recording outputs, and a stereo headphone jack. These versatile mixers offer plenty of connectivity for a wide range of applications.

Bright 12-segment Meters for Visual Level Monitoring

Accurate visual level monitoring can help you achieve maximum signal-to-noise ratio without distortion. The MG mixer's bright, easy-to-read 12-segment LED meters make it easy to control system levels for optimum overall performance.

MG124CX Built-in SPX Effects
The Yamaha MG124CX's includes an astonishing amount of SPX signal processing power. It incorporates a versatile digital multi-effect processor that provides a range of reverb, delay, modulation, and distortion programs you can use to refine and define your sound. Each of the 16 effect programs has a number of editable parameters as well as effect on/off switching capability and return level control. If you need to keep both hands free to play an instrument or perform other operations, an optional footswitch can be connected to the mixer's effect footswitch jack for convenient on/off switching.

Unmatched ease & convenience

Smooth 60-millimeter Faders
Channel and master level control is accomplished via reliable, high-performance 60-millimeter linear faders that provide smooth, noise-free operation. An important advantage of linear faders is that they provide a direct visual indication of relative level settings

Yamaha MG206C 20 Input 6 Buss Stereo Mixer Price: $639.99

Small Mixers with improved utility

Whether you have a mixing applications that involves only a few channels, or up to 32 inputs with substantial signal routing versatility, Yamaha's MG-series offers a console that will give you the capacity, control, and performance you deserve. All models are remarkably compact and lightweight for superior handling and portability, but absolutely no compromises have been made in terms of features, performance, or durability. The MG mixers offer an extraordinary blend of technology: some inherited from professional Yamaha mixing consoles you're likely to see in distinguished halls throughout the world, and some developed specifically to deliver optimum performance in the MG-console format. In either case these performance-packed mixers are founded on a world-spanning network of human and technological resources that crystallize to deliver features that really matter, and sound that is undeniably superior.

Every one of the MG series mixers provides significant space savings along with huge performance benefits
.
Versatile Connectivity and Pro-class Connectors

Top-mounted input and output connectors make setting up and re-patching your system quick and easy.

The microphone preamps built into the MG mixers inherit technology from Yamaha's top-line professional consoles, and have been painstakingly designed to deliver superior sonic performance with any dynamic or condenser microphone. Gain trim covers a wide - 60dB ~ -16dB range for microphones (-34dB ~ +10dB for line input), so you'll be able to achieve optimum level matching with just about any source.

Yamaha EMX 312SC Powered Mixer Price: $469.99
With the power for mid-to-large venues 300 watts + 300 watts and the added advantage of one-knob compression on mono channels, the EMX312SC may be the model you need.

Overview Title
Experienced musicians, performers, speakers, and club operators know the importance of a high-quality sound system with the right features and performance to deliver their sound. Where portability and convenience are important criteria, a system based on a high-performance Yamaha EMXseries powered mixer is definitely the way to go. In one integrated, portable unit you have a mixer to combine and balance your microphone, instrument, and line sources, effects to refine and polish your sound, and power to drive the main speakers and even monitor speakers as well. But that's nowhere near the whole story - Yamaha EMX-series Powered Mixers offer a range of features that let you mix, process, and deliver your sound with maximum quality and creative control ... and, of course, that unrivalled Yamaha sound.
Features Title
Great Yamaha Sound
Yamaha is a leader in the field of professional live sound for a very good reason: we deliver the sound and performance that the pros demand. The EMX-series powered mixers are no exception. They're built at the same standards of sonic performance and rugged reliability that makes Yamaha the first choice for live sound applications from schools to stadiums around the globe.
One-knob Compression on Mono Channels(EMX312SC)
All four monaural mic/line channels on the EMX312SC and EMX512SC feature built-in compressors that can help to bring vocals to the front of the mix, give your guitars extra smoothness and presence, deliver more authoritative bass sound, and generally refine your mixes in a multitude of ways. These one-knob compressors are simple to use, too. There's no need to juggle multiple attack, threshold, makeup gain, and other controls - just set the COMP control for the amount of compression you need.
SPX

SPX Digital Effects
The EMX212S, EMX312SC, and EMX512SC all feature a selection of 16 top-quality Yamaha SPX effects - including reverb, echo, chorus, flanger, phaser, and even distortion - that can add the final touch to your live presentation. Yamaha SPX digital effects are widely recognized as being some of the finest available, and the effects provided in the EMX mixers live up to that reputation.

EQ
Built-in Graphic EQ
Graphic equalizers are provided for both the main and monitor channels, so you can effectively control feedback or tailor the sound to match the room and program material.

Stand-by Mode
When you're done with a set simply engage the stand-by mode to mute all mono channels while leaving the 2-track inputs active for background music playback while you're taking your break.

Channel Strips

Feedback Channel Locating (FCL) System
FCL System indicator LEDs at the top of each channel light if the corresponding channel goes into feedback, so you won't have to fumble around searching for the channel that needs adjustment.

12 Inputs
All three mixers in this series offer a total of 12 input channels - four for monaural microphone (incl. Phantom Power) or line input, plus four pairs that can function either as monaural microphone inputs or stereo line inputs - providing you with a versatile mix of input capabilities for a wide range of applications. If you need only microphone inputs you can use up to eight mic channels. Or if, for example, you want to play recorded background music during breaks (that's one stereo channel), and you have a keyboard player with a stereo-output keyboard (that's one more stereo channel), you still have six mic/line inputs. If you use all four stereo pairs to handle stereo line sources you have four channels available for mono mic or line input. This is a very versatile system that can adapt to your needs.

Features Power Amp
High Power For Main and Monitor Speakers
These powered mixers certainly don't skimp on power. From the EMX212S with 200 watts per channel to the EMX512SC with a solid 500 watts per channel, there's a power configuration to suit any application and venue. All models also feature a power mode switch that lets you use the two power channels as a stereo amplifier, or you can use one of the channels for the main speaker(s) and the other to drive monitors with a separate monitor mix set up via the channel MONITOR controls.

Yamaha Speaker Processing
Yamaha Club-series speakers are fine performers in their own right, but with Yamaha Speaker Processing you get extra-smooth highs and enhanced low-frequency output.

Features Lightweight
Durable, Lightweight Design
The EMX powered mixers offer the ideal combination of outstanding sound performance and easy handling. They're lightweight only 10 kilograms (22lbs.) and feature conveniently located handles for maximum carrying comfort. They're also built tough to withstand the rigors of use on the road.
