LEBLANC 430S Details
The model 430S is the top-of-the-line Leblanc France bass clarinet. Features include an extended range to low C, a beautiful dark, robust tone quality throughout the registers and key guards for the Ab-Eb, A-E and G-D keys that provide extra protection to these critical areas. It is a mechanically solid and well-balanced instrument that includes a double register key for improved intonation in the middle register and a fork Ab-Eb key that provides an alternate fingering for Ab-Eb that is more resonant.

Power-forged nickel-silver keys provide maximum strength and a crisp, positive feel. Unique in-line “Jump” trill keys put pads in direct vertical contact with their tone holes and the nuisance of water “gurgle” is virtually eliminated. Balanced key suspension and natural positioning of keys and spatulas provide every Leblanc USA and Vito with lightning-fast key action that encourages the player's agility and confidence.
All Leblanc USA and Vito Bb soprano clarinets feature the exclusive Positive Radial Alignment Guide, or PRAG (U.S. patent 5,000,072) to ensure the proper alignment of the instrument's upper and lower joints, crucial to clarinet performance. In addition, all Leblanc USA and Vito clarinets feature a new seven-year manufacturer's warranty against joint cracking or breaking, now the best warranty of its kind in the industry.
