Maynard Ferguson’s newest personal-model trumpet, the ST307, has been called his “best trumpet sound yet!” The newly designed full-length mouthpipe combined with the new reversed tuning slide allows the most dynamic playing freedom ever. The ST307’s full high register is astonishingly easy to play, and it has a pleasing, vibrant feel with a well-centered sound. Maynard says, “I love the sound I get on this instrument! The upper register is as fat and big as the middle and lower, causing no thinned-out sound upstairs.”
