SORBER improves the performance of the ClearSonic Panel by soaking up reflected and direct sound. This stray sound, if not absorbed, could cause the kit to sound more "roomy" than desired. The use of both ClearSonic Panels and SORBER baffles provide a complete, cost effective solution to excessive noise problems.
ClearSonic SORBER S4-2's and S5-2's are a great tool to have in the studio, on stage, or in rehearsal for fast and portable acoustic control and separation!
All Sorber models are now available in Light Gray as an option to the original Dark Gray.
S2 SORBER Baffle
The S2 SORBER is a 22 inch by 24 inch section of similarly encased fiberglass that can be used on the lower half of the CSP to cut reflections, or used as wall treatment for studios, basements, church sanctuaries, etc. S2 units can be applied to the ClearSonic Panels using velcro patches that are included.

* PORTABLE: SORBER baffles are very light! The S4-2 weighs a mere 14 pounds while the S5-2 only weighs 19 pounds. Each S4-2 and S5-2 SORBER folds in half and includes a handle allowing one person to easily carry multiple units.
* FREESTANDING or TACK ABLE: Set up S4-2 or S5-2 SORBER in freestand mode and avoid messing up your walls by gluing, nailing, screwing, etc. Reconfigure your room setup quickly and easily. Also, SORBER case fabric is "Velcro receptive". If desired, SORBER can be held against a surface using standard Velcro hook. S2 SORBER squares attach to ClearSonic Panels this way.
* DURABLE: Made from a super tough carpet "trunk" cloth that can take the abuse of the road!

*FIRE RESISTANT: All SORBER products have a Class A fire rating.
To be considered 'Class A', a product must have a Flame Spread of less than 25 and a Smoke Developed Index rating of less than 450
SORBER products have a Flame Spread index of 0 and a Smoke Developed index of 65.
