Yorkville UCS1P Overview
UCS1P - Powered Subwoofer - 1500w, 15 inch
The Active UCS1P is the ideal active subwoofer solution for use with any combination
of Unity™ loudspeaker full-range cabinets. The 1500-watt integrated power
amplifier takes full advantage of the cabinet’s horn-loaded design and
single 15-inch long excursion driver to deliver enough bottom end support for
virtually any PA application.
The unmatched performance of the UCS1P is the direct result of outstanding cabinet
design combined with innovative integrated electronics designed to maximize
the UCS1P’s output. The UCS1P can be connected to any line or speaker
level source via the XLR / TRS Combi-jack input. Built-in crossover circuitry
means the UCS1P can be added to any system without complicated external crossovers
being required. Multiple UCS1P’s can be integrated into any setup using
the XLR or 1/4" TRS balanced thru put on each power module.
The UCS1P is made with a solid 15mm 11-ply birch plywood cabinet construction
and has a heavy gauge perforated metal grill to protect the components. Integrated
wheels and bar handles make moving and stacking the UCS1P as easy as it can
possibly be for a subwoofer in this class.
The UCS1P comes in a black carpet covering to mate with the U15, U215 and U15P.

I Own other brand of powered subs(all 18 )and was not getting the performance I was looking for. After much reserch I bought a pair of UCS1P's and all I can say is OMG these ROCK!!! If you are looking for a powered sub look no further! I will never go back to a 18 sub,the bass is tight deep from right up front to the rear of the hall. 2 thumbs up yorkville!! If and when my powered fullrange speakers fail I will be looking at the unity line.
