The incredible 3-way A.R.T system of the Yamaha APX900 features the same dual sensor arrangement under the bridge but also adds sensors specifically tuned for HF and LF response under the treble and bass sides of the bridge. The advanced System 57 preamp features a luxurious brushed gold finish, on-board chromatic tuner, 3-band EQ, master volume and individual gain controls for the bass and treble sub pickups. The ability to adjust the gain of specific bass and treble pickups allows accurate shaping the tone of the Yamaha APX900 without the use of EQ and removes the possibility of the phase inaccuracies and artifacts produced by even the finest EQ circuits. The bottom line? The Yamaha APX900 has the purest acoustic guitar tone imaginable.
