LS200P Overview

The élite LS200P is an ultra-compact powered subwoofer that features a single 10" speaker and a built in 200 watt power module. The precisely tuned band-pass enclosure of the LS200P provides rock-solid low frequency output previously available only from much larger cabinets. In fact, the unique combination of high-excursion woofers, electronic control and proprietary, series-loaded box design results in higher acoustic output than many single 18" enclosures which are 30-50% larger!

Yorkville’s powered élite subwoofers reflect the synergistic advantage of integrating electronic and acoustic elements into one attractive package that is very versatile, transportable and, above all – great sounding! These enclosures offer the ultimate in ‘plug and play’ convenience while maximizing sonic performance. I needed some smaller subs as my Yorkville LS800P's are too much for most venues that I play. After talking with the very kind people at Yorkville I decided to purchase 2 of the LS200P's. These subs are on par with my LS800's for all music except Rap Hip-Hop, and Techno. For music like rock roll, country, and most top 40 I am very pleased. I run EF500P's for the tops, which are fairly powerful at 800watts each and these subs can keep up just fine. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. These subs are super light and provide just the right amount of low end support for my needs. I will probably use these subs more than my LS800P's just b c they are easier to load. Note These subs have the same 50HZ Freq response as the EF500p tops. I was concerned that I wouldn't notice a difference with or without the subs. I can tell you there is a HUGE difference in sound with the addition of these subs rather than just using the tops alone.

i've used this sub twice for dj gigs. to be honest i hoped for a little more boom but i realize you get what you buy it's only 200 watts but i like how easy it is to carry around. it adds good low end to you're average system and is very portable. It's not the perfect sub but it is small and adds nice punch to a small pa. good for the price.

i like the idea that it is compact and it does not weigh too much. it sounds very profesional like the larger ones that double the size it really has a good and tight bottom end and i've used it for programs up to 300 people. you don't have to go big on heavy equipment to sound great. just something practical enough to go around if you are a sound person and have the experience to know what to use and are always on the go. this product is affordable and is very useful for almost any sound aplication...
