This is a fine all purpose amp. I needed something mostly for vocals and this amp was truer than units @ 3 times cost. It does sound warm for keyboards but it's nice to hear tht tube sound. The sound controls are simple, just low and high but with minimal trying I got really true reproduction. The power sounds like more than the spec and stays clean when you kick it up - but the low end will break up at the highest output. I like this machine's sound and it's at a good price.

i purchased two of these units for stereo stage monitoring of my kawai mp 9500 digital piano they are absolutely awesome in every respect...light, tough, extremely flexible and portable, the loudest 50 watt keyboard amps i've ever heard...and very simple to set up and "get it right" quickly on stage. the "wedge" design is great for monitoring, but the unit is also designed for conventional "upright" position (i've even "stacked" them on top of each other when space was really tight)...very cool design !!! another amazing(in my opinion)feature: i play quite a few gigs where i handle a left-hand bass patch on my keyboard (with the right hand playing organ, piano, synth, etc., patches). the "yorkies" produce excellent deep, thumpin' bass tones, without compromising the piano/organ/synth patches. most impressive. finally, i absolutely love the prompt, friendly, and extremely helpful support from the yorkville tech staff...a terrific company (and product), in my opinion. mike ferrell santa rosa, ca
