Excellent, excellent product! I write music but play the keyboard poorly. By entering the proper chords, I have full blown production style music! The machine is portable and the interface becomes intuitive after you play around with it. The manuals are thorough and within a matter of 2 days, I'd programmed my first song. My only complaints - Power - this thing eats through batteries VERY quickly (3 hours or so on brand new AA batteries). Get an adaptor or two. Backlight - the product has an adjustable display, but no backlight. It's hard to see sometimes unless you're in a properly lit environment. Protection - I think this should have had a protective carrying case shipped with it. It's an investment, and like all investments, you want to protect it. Occasional corruption of files - You get to pushing the buttons quickly, or power off/on, etc. (regular use). Every once in awhile (maybe once a month??), a song I've been working on might get corrupted (extra beats, offbeat, etc, etc). You have to reprogram it. If you keep good notes on what you're doing, it's easy to reprogram. I keep track of my song data on an Excel chart. This way, I can go from scratch to a fully loaded song in around 5 minutes. If anyone has any questions I might be able to answer, let me know and I'll try to answer. Overall, the product is well worth it. As a singer/songwriter, this tool is invaluable.
