Martin D1 Guitar with Case
D1:Martin D1 Guitar with Case D1 Discontinued
|Ease of Use||10|
First off, when you first pick up this Guitar,you won't beleive how light it is. The Woods Inside and Out are Flawless. I recommend using D'adarrio EXP Coated 80 20. Yes 80 20's. I've tried every string, over 12 years for this guitar and I find these are the best strings for it. It has a great sound, either as an Acoustic or When I plug it in with a Sound Hole Pick Up. The Neck is just right, not too big or not too small. I prefer the neck over the Taylor 310 I had. When I needed money, I sold the Taylor but kept the Martin. Look for a D-1 with the vintage finish... As a carpenters son I could say the Top is the best piece of Spruce I have ever seen on any Guitar hands down. It's a plain looking guitar, but sometimes plain is good. I would not give up this Guitar, just as Willie Nelson would never give up his Martin Nylon.
