The Traynor YCX12BLUE single 12-inch Celestion™ Vintage 30 loaded, closed back extension cabinet is the perfect companion for the Custom Valve 50BLUE guitar amps.
Tuned to add not only more volume, but also more bottom end, the YCX12BLUE is the perfect match both sonically and acoustically for the YCV50BLUE Traynor combo amp.
To set the YCX12BLUE apart from its cousins, the YCX12 and YCX12WR, we've added a Blue Nubtex covering and black grille to the black plastic corners and combined it with the Celestion™ Vintage 30 speaker help maintains the YCV50BLUE's rich "boutique" look, sound and feel.

As the desire for real tube tone continues to grow among guitarists, Yorkville responds to the demand by re-introducing Canadian-made Traynor Tube Amplifiers!
Made famous in the 60's and 70's, Traynor Tube Amps were a hit among both professional and hobby guitarists, and were known for their affordability and great tone. And, they were tough as nails!!
The Traynor Custom Valve 40 has been getting rave reviews from professional players all over the world. So overwhelming was the response that they said they wanted “MORE!” Yorkville engineers went back to build a big amp to feed the need.
This couldn’t be just a bigger amp. It had to be bigger and better.
We added more tonal control, from crystal clear rhythm to heavy crunching leads. The problem was that we couldn’t decide whether to make a 2 x 12” or a 4 x 10” version. So we made BOTH!
Vintage Traynor
The Custom Valve series is vintage Traynor with black vinyl covering and chromeplated corners, all plywood construction, and a classic front-mounted Traynor logo. The rear mounted control panel is easy to access, yet recessed for protection… And of course they come with Yorkville’s famous two-year (even if you break it!)* transferable warranty
