The AXON AX 50 USB guitar synth controller turns your guitar into a MIDI monster! Drive an external instrument and up to four other software sound generators with the accurate AX 50. This guitar-to-MIDI controller's 32-bit RISC processor accurately reads and translates string vibrations and sends the information to the connected MIDI sound generator. You get plug-in-and-play capability USB MIDI capability, hardware MIDI In/Thru/Out, and a software that can transform your guitar, bass or violin into synths, pianos, saxophones, and everything in between with the AXON AX 50.

Advanced signal conversion
A 32-bit RISC processor onboard the AX 50 immediately translates the vibrations from each string that you strike or strum and sends information about the pitch, dynamics and tone duration to the connected MIDI sound generator, which allows you to route the signal to synths and sound modules. You can also use the AX 50 to divide fingerboards and strings into up to 12 zones, creating multiple parts in real time. The sounds your guitar is capable of making are only limited by your imagination!

USB MIDI connection
The AX 50's USB MIDI connection gives you a flexible and fast connection to software and computer-based synths and sound modules - a full four virtual MIDI ports. Additional hardware MIDI In, Out, and Thru are also included on the controller. A software editor is also included (Mac/Win).

Functional features
The AX 50 is full of useful features, including 128 programmable presets (based on Native Instruments' KONTAKT player), a bright 7-segment display, built-in tuner, and an instrument output for conventional pickups.
