I just purchased the Takamine EG440SC. I traded in my Ibanez Daytripper in on it and some cash. This guitar is fantastic, first of all the finish on the spruce solid top is excellent. The sound is fabulous, lots of volume and very clean, no fret (buzz) noise at all. The guitar feels very well built, feels solid, it doesn't have a cheap feel to it from the body to the tuner. It has a very convenient tuner which is easy to use and which really sold me, because I haven't figured out how to tune a guitar without a tuner. I love the action on the strings, the guitar plays easily. If you are interested in purchasing it, you will be pleased with the rich sound and volume.
