TC 952000011 Details

The TC Electronic G-Force is high quality multi-effects processor that can combine upto 8 digital effects simultaneously for some unheard of sonic gravity warp fields. 150 of these effects have been created and are built-into the unit. Some of the effects included gating, compression, filters, harmonics, tremolo, intelligent pitch shift, chorus, delay and reverb. You can run eight effects, in any order, at any time. The G-Force has a large amount of memory and uses a high-speed DSP chip to create the awesome effects.

The unit runs at both 44.1 and 48kHz sample rates and has 24-bit AD DA converters and an internal power supply. There are also S/PDIF inputs and outputs and a comprehensive LED that allows you to visually see what's happening to your audio.

For any effect that uses delay you can set the tempo of the delay via Tap Tempo methods, ie. tapping on a button on the front panel or a momentary switch connected to the pdeal input on the back of the unit. It's fast and easy. Of course you can program the tempo into a preset but it's good to know that if the band is running fast that night you can tap in the correct tempo.

It has two displays. The first is a more detailed view of how the preset is routed, what type of effects are in the preset. While the second one displays only the preset number. Good Idea! I don't know how many times I've had to go over and see what preset I'm on with other processors. This one is large enough to been clearly seen from across the room.

The G-Force has a built-in tuner. The tuner uses the larger preset numbers to display if a note is sharp or flat. Again a good idea especially when you're in the trenchs or on stage and need to tune. It's just very convienent to have a tuner right there.

You can backup your effect presets using an optional PCMCIA card. This way you can be sure that all those presets that you've created are safe. You can use a 1MB card to store upto 10 banks where each bank has 100 presets.

Features:

  • Upto 8 digital effects simultaneously
  • Excellent TC Electronic Sound
  • Built-in Tuner
  • Tap Tempo input
  • PCMCIA card backup
  • High power DSP Chips for maximum flexiability
  • Large Easy to see Preset Screen
  • Detailed Menu and LCD Screen

Simplicity
The G-Force is very likely to change your whole approach towards creating effects for your guitar. Very soon you will find yourself going from simple use of standards effects towards thinking up previously non-existing effects, like a tremolo that only kicks in when you play high notes. Simultaneously, you are controlling the level of a phased, distorted delay with your old volume pedal, that you set the G-Force up to use as an expression controller.

Intuition
The G-Force is so intuitive and logical to use, that when you want something to happen and have a feeling that a particular parameter is the right one to adjust, you are probably right! No matter how deep you go, you will not lose your orientation, but you might end up with the coolest new effects you have never heard — and it's yours exclusively!

Ultimate Engineering
TC Electronic's proprietary DARCœ chip and the latest DSP technology make the G-Force the most powerful guitar effects processor ever made...by a wide margin. This also assures that the legendary G-Force Multi-Effects Processor will not run out of power before you run out of ideas.

Quality
In other multi-effects processors, the more effects and higher complexity of effects you load, the more the overall sound quality of the effects will suffer. Not so with the G-Force!

Unequalled DSP power makes it all possible: Now you can get the effects you want, any way you want them.

The transparency of the 24-bit A/D and D/A converters assures the sound quality will be unparalleled š and the G-Force is the first Guitar Multi-Effects Processor to offer 24-bit resolution, standard.

Tonal Integrity
The power and integrity of your original tone will stay intact, even when running your entire signal through up to 8 full-blown effects simultaneously: Delay Pan/Tremolo Chours/Flanger Drive Reverb Filter/EQ Compressor Pitch* Naturally you can modify these 8 effect-blocks to give you such effects as: Stereo Hall, Over-Drive, Hard Compression, Fast Tremolo, Wah-Wah, Multi-tap Delay, Auto-panner, and Noise Gate** — just to mention a few.

*Note: The pitch effect features Intelligent Pitch-Shifting algorithms developed by Wave Mechanics. The G-Force is the first guitar effects processor to employ this groundbreaking software. Activating the Noise Gate will not count as one of the 8 available effects, since TC Electronic has already added this feature in the input-section!

Routing
Thanks to the unique matrix of the G-Force you can easily route and run the effects in any combination and order you wish. As an example you can let the pitch detector control tremolo tempo, making the speed of the tremolo increase as your pitch increases. You now have 7 remaining effects.

On top of that, you can let the threshold control your pitch, so you will jump an octave when you hit the strings really hard. At this point, you still have 6 effects remaining.

Now you can throw in a full-blown TC 1210 style chorus, a TC 2290 type ducking delay, and an M2000 reverb. Want more? — You still have 3 more effects to add.

Control
Another TC exclusive, the ParaLink real time modifiers, quickly and easily put you in control of all relevant preset parameters. Pitch-bend, After-touch, MIDI controller, Tempo, Envelope, 2 LFOs, and 2 ADRs allow you to create the exact sound you want, regardless of style or complexity — from mild to wildáclean to nasty.

It is a bit like driving a bicycle: It's really easy, but it still allows you go in any direction you want.

The G-Force truly offers a formidable arsenal of possibilities! Choosing the direction is your privilege....
