Sennheiser E609 Silver
A unique flat profile, supercardioid dynamic microphone based on the
legendary MD409. Modernized specifications provide a wider frequency
response, greater directionality, and increased sensitivity. With a max
SPL rating of greater than 150 dB, the e609 Silver is optimized for miking
guitar cabinets, drums, and brass instruments.

Specially designed for miking guitar cabs.

Laterally-mounted capsule mikes guitar cabs face on, extremely closely to the signal source. Super cardioid pattern provides isolation from other on-stage signals. Lightweight voice coil construction and rigid dome diaphragm provide both extended high frequency performance and a long-wearing capsule assembly. Also suitable for miking drums, especially toms. 40Hz - 18kHz frequency response
