The EX500 active subwoofer can produce 500 Watts of power in tandem with a custom, heavy-duty 15" low frequency driver. It functions as an ideal complement to Expedition series cabinets, or any loudspeaker system, when the application requires a focused yet deep bass response. The built in stereo crossover lets you use the EX500 in mono or as a common subwoofer in a stereo system. It also features a steel grill and rigid corners for durability, as well as an integral pole mount for conveniently mounting Expedition cabinets.
There is nothing like a sub-woofer for pounding out bass and the Samson EX-500 Powered Sub-Woofer makes it easy to add front-of-house subs to any sound system. Just connect your full range audio signal (mono or stereo) to the balanced XLR inputs on the EX-500 and the internal crossover, with variable frequency and gain controls, will direct the low frequencies to the EX-500’s high output 500-watt power amp and super-efficient 15" low frequency driver. Dual XLR balanced outputs will pass the high frequency signal along to your main power amp and speakers. Compact and powerful, the EX-500 is perfect for traveling bands, DJ's, and club installations. The EX-500 is covered in rugged black carpet and has a top mounted pole cup for mounting satellite speakers. 71 lbs
