Pintech's E-Jam kit was designed for those on a budget yet needing the flexibility and expansibility along with advanced features such as their world famous ConcertCast drums with Patented* woven head technology.

DTXP3U

Priced the same as the DTXPRESSII module, the DTXPRESSIII features a selection of new audio waveforms that reproduce ultra-realistic sounds, with a strong concentration on acoustic cymbal sounds.

Like previous models in the series, the DTXPRESSIII is loaded with more than 1,000 sounds, 128 GM voices, 80 drum kits, 127 songs, an integrated 2-track sequencer, 3-zone snare pad, Groove Check practice feature, and an easy-view backlit display. The DTXPRESSIII also allows players to play along with an external audio source in complete privacy using headphones. Also includes both MIDI and TO HOST connections for PC or Macintosh.

48 Preset Drum Kits. Beginners will enjoy practicing with voices and drum kits that cover a wide range of genres. The over 900 drum and percussion
voices are grouped in drum kit presets that cover styles like Jazz, Rock, Hip Hop, Latin and more. Original kits are easy to create and can be stored
for quick access in the User Area's 32 memory locations.Voice Edit. Once you've got the basics down, edit drum kit, voice and
trigger settings to create a sound that suits your taste. You can edit the effect, volume and pitch of each voice to create your own original sounds.
Drum kits stored in the user area can also be edited freely.

Precise Trigger Edit. Sensitivity and dynamic settings for each pad can be fine-tuned to your liking. This allows you to tailor the sound and response
to fit your particular playing style.

ZAP Function. The 3 most often accessed edits; "Pad Sensitivity", "Volume" for individual pad voices and "Total EQ" are quickly accessed with a
double-click of the appropriate key. This allows for quick edits and lets you concentrate on playing.

95 Preset Songs. Fine-tune your skills with Virtual Session and Live Rehearsal. The collection of 95 preset songs, covering a wide range of
musical styles, provide an extensive song library from which to choose. To play along with any of the songs just mute the drum part and play. This
function makes practice enjoyable and sharpens your skills immensely. Original songs can be created, stored in the 32 user memory allocations and
used in the same manner.

Pads Put You In Control. The pads can also act as switches that send commands for various functions. Hit a pad to start or stop playback of a
sequencer. Use the Note Chase function to trigger a programmed fill or effect.

Virtual Session. Connected to a MIDI device the DTXPRESS can be used as a MIDI tone generator for playing GM song data from a sequencer. Cancel the
drum part, just as with preset songs, and play along in a "Virtual Session".

Live Rehearsal, Groove Check. Recording your own performance is quick and easy. After recording, replay your performance to check how well you did. If
you want an impartial judgement, the Groove Check function will provide you with a report card on your timing accuracy and overall feel of the groove.
Such feedback will be a positive influence in your training sessions.

I have played for over 21 years. Our Outreach Band, Godcast, needed a set that we could lug around with a quick set up tear down and mix. With this kit, you simply put it in the back of the vehicle already set up, place it where you want it at the gig, plug it in and play. I shopped for electronic drums for this purpose for almost 2 years before deciding to buy one. I have played every brand that I know is on the market. I would go to local music stores, and some quite a distance away, just to try out the different brands. The best sets I played were the high-end Roland kits ($3,500-$6,000), but who wants to spend that kind of money on something that's still not quite there? I would walk out disappointed EVERY time, not hearing what I wanted to hear, nor feeling what I expected to feel for the price tag on even the lesser priced models, which is still ridiculous. I really wanted the mesh heads so it would feel more natural, as opposed to striking a piece of rubber. It's somewhat a mental thing also, I believe. I was shopping online and came across this site and noticed they had all-mesh heads on their Pintech kits and it caught my attention, especially when I seen the price. I did some additional research of their company and Pintech. I came to the conclusion that this kit is, without a doubt, the best electronic drumset for the money. This site gives you so many additional items for free with the purchase of this kit that you honestly don't need to buy anything else to play it's all included. The rack hardware isn't the greatest, but it's not the worse either - easy to set up (once you figure it out instructions from Pintech aren't very good). It takes a bit to figure out how you want to set it up, but after some adjusting it plays very well. Everything seems to be quite durable. Now for the meat and potatoes: The brain is basically an entry level brain, but after making some adjustments, I now have some very, very good sounding sets stored. The heads feel good when struck and are two-zone offering a wider array of sounds. The heads are actually licensed by Roland and feel like Roland when struck. The cymbals are probably the most realistic I've heard, with the exception of the high-end Roland and Hart kits. They are also two-zone, so you get varying sounds that you can adjust to your preferences. This kit will require some adjusting for sensitivity, etc. but the end result is well worth it when completed. I would recommend this set to anyone, even to those considering the high-end Rolands.
