I'm not a sound expert but it is easy to transport, easy to set up, and provides sound that's great as far as I can tell. Connections are logical and well marked, and the manual is clear and detailed. I wondered about the latches, but they are durable enough also, the overall weight of the unit is less than I was expecting. My only suggestion would be for a more sturdy arrangement for the door to the storage compartment for the cords, it seem to be straining as the cords push against it to get out--but so far that has held up too. All in all, I'm please with my purchase because it's done the job for me.
