Multi-soundhole technology made affordable. Using the same unique Ovation Quintad bracing pattern featured on the more expensive Elite models, here's an entry-level acoustic/electric that will continue to earn its keep as your playing skills mature.

Multi-Soundhole Technology
Multiple soundholes in the upper bout allow for more efficient bracing and tone contouring. This technique has been perfected over the last two decades on guitars ten times as expensive. Now everyone can own one.

Minimal bracing = Maximum Sound
Ovation's unique Quintad bracing pattern allows maximum top vibration while maintaining stability. In conjunction with the roundback body, the Celebrity Deluxe produces a robust sound with plenty of tonal cut.

Think Fast
A bound rosewood fingerboard and a slim 'U' shaped neck make the Celebrity Deluxe one of the easiest-playing guitars in the business. The frets are hand-dressed and the action height is set to "Fast."

OP-Pro Preamp

1. GAIN: Adjusts the overall output level of the preamp.
2. LOW EQ: Boosts or cuts the low frequency elements of the guitar's sound.
3. MID EQ: Boosts or cuts the middle frequency elements of the guitar's sound.
4. HIGH EQ: Boosts or cuts the high frequency elements of the guitar's sound.
5. PRE-EQ: Selects or bypasses a preset tone enhancement ciruit.
   TUNE: Activates the built-in tuner function.
6. TUNER DISPLAY: When you play a note after pressing the Tune button, the Tuner Display Window displays the following information with symbols: Tuner Enabled, Note in Tune, Note Flat, Note Sharp.
7. BATTERY PHANTOM: he bi-color LED performs several functions. (1) To indicate power up (2) To indicate low battery and (3) To indicate phantom power for models equipped with an XLR output jack.

Output Connections

The XLR jack featured on certain OP-Pro equipped guitars gives you a professional, balancedline connection to mixers and high-end acoustic amps. The phantom power capability allows your mixer to power the preamp. Any XLR cable with a ground-to-shell connection (Ovation P/N 9658-0) is required for the auto power-on function. A "dummy plug" (Ovation P/N 9659-0) inserted into the 1/4" jack can be used instead, if the proper XLR cable is not available.

The 1/4" jack on all models provides an unbalanced, line-level connection to most any amplification system. Inserting a plug into this jack also turns on the preamp system. Please note that the tuner is functional without any connection.
