The Ovation 2778LX Standard Elite Contour features a grade solid spruce top and a smooth, hard composite Lyrachord GS body that has improved projection and reflects top vibrations better than traditional material and is now even stronger and lighter. The exotic wood leaf-shaped "epaulets" are inlaid into the top with laser precision.

Designed to fit the contour of the player's body, the Standard Elite Contour has the feel of a smaller bodied instrument. The LX scalloped bracing pattern evenly supports the top to provide the ultimate in acoustic output.

The OP-Pro preamp system was developed to work specifically with the unique Ovation Patented Pickup. This professional grade system has been engineered to compliment the unique character of Ovation guitars. The OP-Pro includes a 3-band EQ and a built-in tuner.
