Roland introduces the newest member of its award-winning V-Drums® line: the
TD-6SW, which succeeds the TD-6SV. The TD-6SW features a new type mesh
snare pad (PDX-8) and an improved, enlarged hi-hat cymbal pad (CY-5). The
MDS-6SL drum stand has been upgraded with a second horizontal tier of pipes to
improve stability and durability.

The core of the TD-6SW kit is the TD-6V Percussion Sound
Module, a 64-voice module that offers over 1,000 of Roland’s best
drum/percussion sounds. Dual-trigger tom inputs allow for rim
shots on toms. Large, luminous buttons and a cool, blue display
make the TD-6V fun and friendly to use.
Upright Kick
Drummers will appreciate the TD-6SW’s upright kick drum pad. Its
vertical design not only provides a better feel compared to reverse-type
kick pads, but also reduces vibration so you get nothing but solid
kick sounds. And here’s more good news: The kick pad can
accommodate double-bass pedals.

More Than Just a New Look
The first thing you'll notice about the TD-6V Percussion Sound Module is the new black look and cool blue LCD screen. Like the original, this 64-voice module serves up 1,024 of Roland's best drum and percussion sounds and 262 backing instruments - but with newly created drum kits and patterns in the latest music styles. Dual-trigger tom inputs allow for rim shots on toms and expanded musical expression, while large, luminous buttons make the TD-6V very easy to use.
Incredible V-Drums Sounds
The TD-6V module serves up 1,024 of Roland's best drum and percussion sounds and 262 backing instruments - complete with newly created drum kits and patterns in the latest musical styles. Dual-trigger tom inputs allow for rim shots on toms and expanded musical expression. Drummers can create their own custom drum kits and store them to user memory, or add EQ and Ambience effects to beef up the sound. There's even a 6-part sequencer that's great for jamming and practice.
Cool New Look
The TD-6V sports a new black case and blue LCD screen that's easy to read under any lighting condition. Luminous rubber buttons make selecting different kits and editing sounds and effects quick and intuitive. Even those new to electronic percussion will find this module very easy to understand. The TD-6V can be expanded with up to 11 pads and cymbals, allowing plenty of room to grow.
Improved V-Pad™ for Snare
Roland’s newest mesh V-Pad (PDX-8) offers an expanded 10-inch rim for more comfortable and quiet rim-shots, as well as separate head and rim triggering for authentic performance.

8" DUAL-TRIGGER PAD
This durable 8.5-inch rubber pad offers super-accurate triggering and a time-tested design for years of reliable use. The PD-8's dual-trigger capabilities make it perfect for triggering rim shots on the toms (when used with the TD-6V) or bow/edge sounds on the hi-hat.
Improved Cymbal Pad for Hi-Hat or Splash
The newly designed cymbal pad (CY-5) features a 12-inch playing zone and swing movement for more drummer-friendly triggering. The pad also provides separate bow and edge triggering. The CY-5 can be also used as an additional cymbal pad, such as a splash, on V-Drum kits.

Sporting a refined look that more closely resembles an acoustic cymbal's feel, the new CY-8 Dual-Trigger Cymbal Pad offers precise and accurate triggering for the crash and ride cymbals -complete with "swinging" motion and cymbal "choke" capabilities.

KICK TRIGGER PAD
The new KD8 Kick Trigger Pad's sturdy, vertical design gives drummers a better feel and solid kick drum sounds. The upright KD-8 can even accommodate double bass pedals - perfect for dummers who want to create complex rhythms.

HI HAT CONTROL PEDAL
Thanks to Roland's new FD-8 Hi-Hat Controller, drummers can get realistic hi-hat sounds with smooth transitions between open and closed. The updated look makes the FD-8 fit perfectly with the striking new look of the V-Tour Series and V-Compact Series.
