This guitar has great balance and is easy to play with .011-.52 or .012-.054 strings. This box is light and comfortable and the mahogany with rosewood is plain but attractive. Contrary to what you read, you can play anything from Bach to Bluegrass on this gem.It is fine for vocal back-up as it is'nt loud enough to step on the lead vocals or lead instrument. I own an HD-28 and an OM-16GT and this is still my go to guitar.The only thing that might turn off some people is it's simple, unadorned look. I would never sell it and if lost or stolen, I don't know if I could find another like it. I'd sure try. I've been an aspiring guitar player since 1947 and have owned almost every type and model of guitar.The quality of build and detail of this 00-15 is equal to my HD-28.
