Korg has always been known for its affordable, quality, world-class digital pianos, and the EC120 stay faithful to their heritage with some high-tech extras.
The new EC120 digital piano uses the most modern digital technology to produce a rich and natural sound. By digitally recording "samples" from the finest acoustic pianos, the EC120 faithfully reproduce an acoustic piano's complex blend of harmonics, resonant sounds and reflected echoes. To further enhance and reproduce the full dynamics of a real piano tone, KORG has developed a powerful sound reproduction system that adds deep physical impact to the piano sound. This amplification and speaker system has been carefully designed to work in harmony with the new EC120s wood finished cabinet features, to ensure that each time you strike a key, even the subtle nuances have a natural audible presence.
Not content with having just a great piano sound, the new EC120 goes further to widen your musical horizons by providing a selection of other keyboard sounds like organ and harpsichord. The ambience of all these sounds can even be refined with the EC120's digital effects, which include reverb and chorus.
The new KORG EC120 piano not only sounds like traditional pianos, it also feels like a traditional piano, thanks to the velocity-sensitive, 88-note weighted hammer-action keyboard with the solid, responsive feel of a superior acoustic grand. The EC120 piano also offers a selection of three touch or "velocity" curves, so you can customise the instrument's touch to your preference or playing style. The EC120 includes two pedals for the Damper and Soft functions. However, a special setting also allows the Soft pedal to adjust its function to provide sostenuto
The modern technology used in the EC120 piano has many practical advantages. Now you can practice without disturbing anyone, because the EC120 allows two sets of headphones to be connected, ideal for teachers to listen in. A special "recorder" function allows you to record and play back performances so you can create your own musical compositions and improve your playing technique.
For the hi-tech player, the EC120 offers a connection to other MIDI equipment via a standard MIDI interface. Finally, If you have other electronic keyboards or sound modules, you can monitor their sound through the EC120's speakers by making the necessary connections to the auxiliary input sockets.

"Danny, I received my guitar (Martin SWDGT) on Wednesday and have been so busy playing I haven't had time to email you to tell you how much I like it. It is the fourth guitar I've owned and it is the finest. I appreciate receiving it so quickly. I also wanted to say how much I like your website and how easy it is for someone like me who is computer handicapped to get around on it. I'll be looking for another guitar in the future and I'm sure you'll be hearing from me again. Thanks so much, Randy"
