HARTKE KM200 Details
The Hartke Keyboard Amp!
Hartke, the company famous for its aluminum cone bass drivers, has given the keyboard player some much-needed attention. Since keyboard players usually go direct into the main PA, it's often a challenge for them to they hear what are playing over the rest of the band. The Guitar player has his amp on 11, the bass player is vibrating the stage, and the drummer needs to lay off the caffeine, meanwhile your begging the soundman to give you more keys in your monitor. The simple solution; give the keyboard player his own controllable sound source on stage, the Hartke KM200.
The KM200 has 200 watts of power driving a classic Hartke 15" aluminum cone driver and a 1" titanium compression driver, enclosed in an innovative kickback design, giving you a powerful full-range 2-way professional monitoring system. BE AFRAID... BE VERY AFRAID! This amp completely died after less than an hour of use. I called Hartke to give them a chance to make it right, but they couldn't have cared less. In fact, the problem with the amp pissing out seems to not be all that uncommon, even for a brand new one. I had to ship the unit back to the retailer and wait for weeks to get my money back. I promptly purchased a 100w Crate that's a better product. It has a better angle for monitoring sound, and has an input signal level, too.
