Yes, Ibanez is back in the banjo biz in a big way, and this B200 is proof that they’re here to stay. The only difference between the B200 and many of the Ibby vintage banjos on the auction sites is a layer of dust. The tree-of-life fretboard inlay, the pearl headstock design with its authentic behind-the-head tuners all harken back to the late 70s, when the company’s artist roster included the legendary Earl Scruggs.

But when you hear this full-bodied instrument is when you’ll be convinced that Ibanez isn’t resting on its old school laurels. The B200’s rich voice is directly attributable to a combination of its Basswood Rim, Mahogany bowl and coated Remo Weatherking head. Neck tension stays rock-solid throughout the seasons with the B200’s dual coordinator rod.

Our Happy Customers

"Hi Carl, Just a quick THANKS for a perfect telephone transaction. The Casio P-130 keyboard (with stand, pedal board and bench) turned out to be perfect for the Rose Lane assisted living facility at The Village At Filmore Pond. It arrived so quickly that I couldn't get there to set it up for a few days, and the residents were bouncing with anticipation! Love the pedals! The keyboard's touch is fantastically better than that of my Studiologic 800 controller. Now I'm more anxious than ever to get rid of it. The volume and sound quality is fine for the room and audience. I wasn't expecting a Steinway Grand, and didn't get one, but I'm satisfied with what I hear from the internal sound system. Carl, it's obvious that you know that every sale is an opportunity to gain a loyal customer. Know that my first call for anything musical will be to MusiciansBuy!"
