The Catalina club has been the best bang for my buck since I started playing the drums years ago. I have always liked the deep sounding toms and I saw the Catalina Club with tom sizes 14 ,16 , 18 and a 26 bass drum, which gives me all the power that I need while playing. Drums are a very expensive instrument to play, as you all now, but this kit is very inexpensive and will definately amaze you with the sound quality that comes from it. I own four other kits but this is the kit that I play on every day and bring to shows. This was definatley the best purchase I have ever made. So if you don't want to spend a few thousand dollars on a kit, I recommend the Catalina Club.
