Eighteen tuned metal tines mounted under the bridge help to create the unique sound of the Acousticaster. The rock maple neck is precisely matched with a two chamber mahogany body. The body is capped with a solid spruce top.

I purchased my Acousticaster approximately three years ago while still living in Chicago. I have found it to be extremely dependable and an absolute blast to play. The sound quality is exeptional especially at the price. When it is EQ'd for acoustic the tones are well balanced and warm and each string comes through superbly balanced. You can push the volume and achieve an overdriven quality but the draw back to this is not work with a coil pickup you have no sustain capability. I did attempt to add a sustainer pedal but the LL Baggs system was not compatable and the sustainer had virtualy no effect. The neck is extremely comfortable and the action from the factory was smooth. All in all if you are playing acoustic and or acoustic rock I would highly recommend this guitar. As a matter of fact when I moved to San Diego last year the only thing I walked off the plane with was the clothes on my back and my Godin! Play On!!! Richie Jae
