Introduction
The Privia is the revolutionary digital piano that makes it possible for just about anyone to experience the joys of playing the piano. Stylish, compact, and priced for affordability, the Privia provides authentic piano sound and feel in your room or just about anywhere else.
Scaled Hammer Action Keyboard for authentic grand piano feel
Lower notes play relatively heavier than higher notes, just like the keys on a grand piano. Selectable touch sensitivity even lets you configure the keyboard for a light touch that makes it possible for your fingers to really fly when they need to.
Stereo-sampled Tri-element ZPI Sound Source
A Stereo-sampled Tri-element ZPI sound source includes seperate waveforms for strong key pressure, medium key pressure and light key pressure, which accentuates the differences between the sounds produced by each. Multiple stereo-samples are also taken of tones produced by an acoustic grand, from the low range to the high range. Notes remain natural sounding and realistic from the moment a key is pressed until the note decays, providing you with sound quality that is virtually identical to that of an acoustic grand piano. 64-note polyphony helps to ensure you never lose notes due to damper pedial operation.
High-quality, versatile tone, with layer and split
In addition to grand piano tones, the Privia also includes strings, pipe organ, and other tones. A Layer feature allows simultaneous play of two tones, and a Split feature lets you split the keyboard between two different tones.

After using this keyboard for about 6 months the keys are starting to ware out and vibrate after hitting them. Also one of the Speakers are starting to vibrate and is very annoying.

I love this thing. My 5-year old does too. The price is right and I took it home to evaluate with the Yamaha P70 and liked this one better for it's more extensive features and it's song boog, good choice of demo songs, excellent feel on the keys, and superior sound. Power of the sound was higher somehow than the Yamaha.

I love this thing. I bought it for my wife because she plays the piano, and I love to hear her play. I was a little unsure of this model at first but after a year and a half of almost daily playing its still going strong. Im not a musician but this thing sounds just like a real piano, excellent sound for a budget. I cant tell the difference in the weighted keys from a real piano, my wife says the same thing. The response in the keys, given a specific amount of pressure, is almost identical to the real thing in sound. We live in a condo with neighbors so its perfect for us because of the variable volume. Musiciansbuy shipped fast with no problems. This piano has been really great for us, our freinds admire the sound and feel, cant think of anything negative to buy. On a budget? This ones for you.
