Thermal-Link™ High Frequency Driver Protection Every MVP full-range loudspeaker system (MVP25, 28, 35, 36, 37 and 38) employs a unique, thermallycompensated circuit to protect its high frequency compression driver. Call ed the Thermal-Link™ Driver Protection System, this circuit automaticall y adjusts the threshold of its safeguarding mechanisms to compensate for variations in driver temperature. Typicall y, when a driver is operated at high power levels, its temperature increases. The longer it is operated at high power, the hotter it becomes. With the increasing presence of heat, the driver's susceptibility to damage also increases. Equipped with the power to accurately sense changes in the driver's operating Temperature, Thermal-Link™ automaticall y adjusts the threshold of protection across the entire operating spectrum, making that threshold higher or lower as needed to insure that the driver is optimally protected against possible damage. When the protective threshold of the Thermal-Link™ circuit is reached, power to the high frequency driver is attenuated by 6 dB. After input is reduced to a safe level, the circuit automaticall y resets itself and restores full power. The patent-pending Thermal- Link™ protection is solid-state (there are no relay contacts or light bulbs to burn out).

Community's Low-mass High Frequency LM20™ Compression Driver Utilized in all full-range MVP Series products (including monitor systems), Community's new LM20, proprietary compression driver is outfitted with a non-metallic diaphragm to provide increased internal damping, and extremely low levels of distortion. Ferrofluid-cooled to efficiently and quickly dissipate heat, the device additionally employs a low moving mass design which provides extremely accurate transient and high frequency response.

MVP36

The MVP36 is a rugged, high-efficiency, two-way, full-range loudspeaker system. The system utilizes one LM20™ high-frequency driver coupled to a Pattern Control horn and one 15" cast frame woofer for high efficiency and excellent power handling capability. These components are matched to an optimally tuned direct radiating bass-reflex enclosure. The recessed handles, black carpeted exterior and injection molded corners also make this system attractive and ugged. The MVP36 offers a robust internal crossover with Thermal Link™ Dynamic HF Driver Protection. The crossover is built to last with high quality inductors, precision wound coils and military grade circuit boards. The proprietary Thermal Link Dynamic HF Driver Protection circuit provides both over-current and thermal protection for added performance and reliability.

Designed as a stand-alone full-range loudspeaker system, the MVP36 offers enough bass for most applications. For more demanding applications, extended bass can be achieved by adding a MVP subwoofer. Mounting is easily accomplished utilizing the threaded inserts provided and optional mounting kits. This product should never be suspended by its handles.
