In 1939, Elden Benge, who played with both the Detroit and Chicago symphony orchestras, began manufacturing custom trumpets.

Today, Benge professional brass includes a full line of trumpets for both symphonic and commercial use, including the famous 3X and 90B series. Since the early 1980s, Benge trombones have joined Benge trumpets on stage, offering top performance in a unique design.
