The AD60K features Figured Dao on all body surfaces, back, sides and top with an equally stunning rosewood fingerboard. The body and neck are bound in a white/black multilayer motif with a white pearl rosette.

During the course of more than 30 years, the Alvarez Guitar Shop in St. Louis, MO has developed the most comprehensive pre-sale inspection and adjustment procedure in the industry. Alvarez and Alvarez Yairi guitars are subjected to a detailed inspection to ensure that only instruments of the highest quality are allowed into the marketplace. Instruments go through an advanced setup process that includes a full fretboard level and dress, filing of nut slots, multiple neck/truss rod adjustments, and exacting bridge saddle measurements to insure that each Alvarez and Alvarez Yairi guitar is individually optimized for unparalleled playability
