Art TPSII Mic Preamp

I bought the TPSII to use with a Shure KSM27 mic, and I have absolutely no complaints. I use it both live and in studio, and for the price you absolutely can't beat this gear. I've recorded acoustic guitars (both direct and through mics run through the TPSII), vocals, brass and muted trumpets, saxophones through clip-on mics, and plan on using it extensively - as I am even using it for a session tonight. I like it so much and the price is so right, I'm thinking about buying another one or two units for my live rig. My sound engineer commented the first night that I used the TPSII, that he didn't even have to EQ my sax channel at all, that the sound was just so warm and full throughout the whole range (I use an Audio Technica wireless clip-on.) I can even hear my sax more clearly and evenly through the monitor mix, as well. I highly recommend this piece of gear to anyone wanting a better sound live, or for someone looking to add a great sounding tube mic-pre for any purpose. People have commented at church and at gigs on my live sax playing and tell me that they thought it was a CD playing through the house system - before they saw me playing on stage.
