After searching, shopping, playing, searching some more, playing some more, probably 100 or more 12-string guitars over the last 5yrs I knew which models I wanted, and what would fit in my budget for now... however some of what I was seeing in the local music stores wasn't exactly in totally new condition if ya know what I mean. No disrespect, but hey if I played alot of them, then a few hundred others have played these same guitars too. What I found after some research is that there's no other way to buy a guitar other then Musiciansbuy.com ... and I was not disappointed at all... matter of fact, my Tak arrived in 2 days, in a VERY sturdy box, totally pro-packaged... and the smell upon opening was to be beholded.. wood and leather, and NEW NEW NEW guitar smell.. ahh... it was great. My Tak was so nicely packed, and so pristine, I'm sure nobody but the final technician had any time on it... and the product itself....??? OH MY GOD!!! First Class instrument to say the least. It just gets better with time. There's so many things about the EG523SC-12 that make it one of my best purchases ever. The playability is probably what stands out to me. After a brief time of getting to know it(it didn't take long), I can say it's one of the easiest guitars to play I've ever handled. The tone is fantastic, and is only getting better with a bit of time cranking on it. The case is a very sturdy design, with fur lining, and the hard shell I'm sure it will hold this guitar safely for me the rest of my life The hardest time I've had is getting used to a wider fret board, as well as the dual strings of a 12-string, and even at that, that fret-board is one of the smoothest I've felt, and the design and geometry that's gone into it most definately make it user friendly. I'm looking now for some friends to play with, in what is going to be a bit more serious then we've been in the past, as this Tak is ready to rock!! For the money you can't go wrong... I'd buy this thing 100 times over again, the whole experience was that satisfying. Totally worth it.. it's a Gem.
