I've played for over 20 years and own over a doz different guitars all makes, styles, and brands...Hagstrom Swede, Strats, Pauls...even an old Yamaha Weddington. I bought this guitar for my 10 year old nephew and was flabergasted at how well it played. The amp, is a little practice amp and might be fine for a jr. high talent show but still...for bedroom thrashing...it's going to drive his mom (my sister in law...YEAH!) crazy. GREAT GUITAR FOR THE BUCKS....MAYBE EVEN MORE BUCKS! Typical for Yamaha.
