New Compact Drums are Smaller the the Original Hipgig
"Why don't you make a real drum kit for kids?" That was the request by Manu Katche' caught our designer's ears and had them designing this new small size, low cost Hipgig. A new 13" floor tom has been added to the bass drum and 10" tom tom configuration. to gain the utmost in quality we used our original Air-Seal System to create perfectly round 9-ply bass drum and 6-ply snare and tom shells of Philippine Mahogany. A great kit for the kids but is outstanding quality also makes it great for any drummer looking for a really compact kit that produces excellent tone.

New Floating Bass Drum System
Height adjustment on the pedal side of the bass drum is possible with the pipe post stabilizer. Use of this system ensure that the beater makes contact at the center of the head. The Stabilizer fits into a pipe clamp on the underside of the drum that allows quick and easy adjustment of the height. The post is equipped with a memory clamp that ensures subsequent settings will be quick and precise every time while a pair of supports provides added stability.

All Remo Heads
The bass drum is fitted with Remo Clear Power Stroke 3 heads on the batter end and UT Ebony Power Stroke 3 heads on the front while the floor tom and tom toms are fitted UT Clears on both the top and bottom. All heads have been chosen for their ability to produce full, deep tone and excellent compatibility with small diameter drums.

Hardware
The Hipgig Jr. comes equipped with durable but lightweight, easy to setup hardware while the 12" snare rests on the newly designed SS642 snare stand.
