Larger Diameters Offer Greater Performance
Compared to the original Higgig, drum diameters on the new Hipgig Sr. have all been increased to offer drummers greater tone and performance in a still compact easy to transport drum kit. The bass drum diameter has increased two inches, from the original 16 inches to 18, while the 14 and 12 inch tom toms and 13 inch snare are all one-size larger than before. The 7-ply shells are made of Birch and Philippine Mahogany using our original Air-Seal System. Yamaha CS641 cymbal stands have been utilized to allow the use of larger cymbals and greater setting variation.

Compact, Easy to Transport
The two tom toms and the snare drum fit conveniently into the two-piece bass drum which then slides into a soft case to make transport easy. The included hardware and drum stool fit into a soft bag.

New Floating Bass Drum System
A pipe post stabilizer on the pedal side of the bass drum allows easy height adjustment so as to ensure that the beater strikes at the center of the drum. The stabilizer fits into a pipe clamp on the underside of the drum that allows quick and easy adjustment of the height. The post is equipped with a memory clamp that ensures subsequent settings will be quick and precise every time while a pair of supports provides added stability.

All Remo Heads
The Hipgig's compact drums are able to produce deep, full tone due in part to the exclusive use of Remo drum heads. The bass drum is fitted with the Renaissance Power Strike 3 heads on both the batter and front ends. To get maximum tone out of the drums the tom toms and the snare have been matched with Ambassador Coated on the top and Ambassador Clear on the bottom.
