These mics feel lightweight and cheap. The thin plastic case will certainly not last long in a rock n' roll environment. The mounting system also looks and feels chinsey. HOWEVER, the sound of the toms, snare and kick mics are really good for live use. I was amazed at how good each drum sounded before I started dialing them in. the kit is a great value at $199. If you're on a budget? I highly recommend it.
