guitar sounds great right out of the box. The pickup is fantastic. Great bargain especially with the hard case. The only thing is that the hard case doesn't seem to fit the guitar perfectly. It fits, but it's shaped wierd.

I bought this guitar a few years ago. It has rich, warm sound and a unique look with offset paisley sound hole. The Fishman electronics allow flexible sound shaping. The action was high when I bought it but was OK for first position open chords. I had the bridge lowered significantly to improve the action and the neck reset to improve intonation. Sounds great acoustic. I plug right in to the mixing board at my church and it rocks. Satin finish on the face is attractive but not very durable, susceptible to scratches. Overall a good value.

This guitar sounds so good I can barely believe it. The only reason I have it a 9 on sound was that you do lose a tad bit of bass with the thin body...but this is nitpicking folks. Plugged in, it blows my mind. I've been playing an Epi Chet Atkins SST for several years now. I'll be selling it and buying another of these. I am simply floored by the quality! Buy one, if you can find one...you won't be disappointed!

Man, does it sound great. For the money, I never expected to own a guitar with which you hear the wood more than the strings. My only problem is that even though I babied this thing from the get-go (perfect-fitting hardshell case, obsessively-filled humidifier, didn't play it all that much), It started to crack and buckle in on itself after six months. This being a budget guitar, I didn't expect it to last a lifetime, but I would at least expect a couple of years to go by before I have 3 8 action at the twelfth fret. I know this isn't a common experience, however. It's well worth the money - if it holds itself together.
