Floor POD Plus makes it easy to tweak all the settings for your amp and effect models, save them to a user bank, and instantly recall them at any time with its 7 onboard footswitches and the built in wah/volume pedal. Features include 120 killer presets, onboard tuner, stereo 1/4" outs, Tap Tempo, CD/MP3 input, headphone out, MIDI in/out, and much more. What's the difference between the Floor Pod and Floor Pod Plus?
The Floor POD Plus offers the full number of Amp Models and Cab Models from the POD® 2.0, which gives you a ton more available combinations than the Floor POD. It also has a different effects section featuring some of the greatest effects from our POD 2.0, our Tone Core Pedals and our premium 4 button stomp boxes.
How many Presets and User banks do I get?
In the Floor POD Plus, you get 31 Banks with 4 channels in each Bank. That’s up to 124 possible tones at your fingertips!
Can I bypass all of the modeling on my Floor POD Plus?
Yes! You can turn off the amp and effect modeling by using the ‘Effects On/Off’ functionality.
Can I plug other instruments into my Floor POD Plus or just a guitar?
The Floor POD Plus was designed specifically for guitars however you can plug other instrument level instruments such as basses into the POD.
Can I use other effects pedals with my Floor POD Plus?
Yes! You can connect any instrument level stompbox or external effects pedal to your Floor POD Plus.
Can I use an external expression pedal with my Floor POD Plus?
Unfortunately, the Floor POD Plus does not have an external expression pedal input.
What do the footswitches do?
They have many uses, but basically they give you total control with your feet. You have the built in wah/volume pedal, along with 7 footswitches that can be used either to move you through settings on the Floor POD Plus, or to turn on and off your amp and effects.
Can I record with my Floor POD Plus?
Yes! You can route your audio signal into the soundcard of your computer or through another third party audio interface.
Can I run directly into a PA?
Yes! The Floor POD Plus has a direct out mode that sends your dialed in tone directly to a PA or Mixing Board with Line 6’s great A.I.R.™ II Technology. A.I.R. II super sizes your sound with to emulate the sound of a mic’ed up cab when you are running direct.
Can I use Floor POD Plus to jam along with CD's and MP3's?
Yes! Floor POD has an input jack that you can plug a CD or MP3 player into for practicing and jamming.
Can I purchase model packs for my Floor POD Plus?
No. Model packs are only available for the XT-based POD®, the GuitarPort®, and the TonePort™ family.
