A cool guitar at a good price. Nice stand-in for a Gibson 335 - not exactly in the same league, but the AJ135 is surpringly high quality for the price. The neck is straight, not overly thick, with well done frets. Soundwise this can go from mellow jazz tones (not quite as deep as a 3 or 4 -deep jazz guitar) to a gutsy but cutting rock tone. Since I got mine I use it for most styles of music, since it's pretty versatile. Seems well built - pucing the meck doesn't make the pitch change as in cheap guitars.

For the money, this is one sweet guitar! In fact, I've parked my Gretch for a while and use this guitar now in all of my live performances and on my new DVD. People are constantly amazed when they find out what I'm playing...they expect a much higher dollar guitar. If you're not pleased with the factory humbuckers, swap for TV Jones, tweak or change your amp, change your strings, maybe even take lessons, but, don't blame this guitar!
